Instead of washing, air out your woollen garments from time to time. Wash only if stained. We suggest hand-washing our wool pieces in cold water with a gentle, natural soap. We love any organic soap that has little scent, in a small dose.
Submerge your sweater in the water, gently rub any deep stains, and remove quickly. Then, roll the sweater in a clean towel to absorb excess water before laying flat to dry (ideally on an airy surface).
Arabella is an extremely versatile piece and can be combined with tops and jeans, yoga attire, as well as summer dresses. We love it with lingerie only on a lazy Sunday morning. For breezy evenings wear it with a simple silk dress and heeled sandals.

Saga is a fully hand-knitted and hand-embroidered artisanal piece. A midi length style coat with a slightly pointy hood, made in 100% organic, mulesing-free, and naturally dyed wool. Saga is knitted in off-white wool and tightly embroidered with black wool threads by using a very precise and time-consuming embroidering technique with a thick needle. The hand-embroidery process takes days to complete and results in unique details throughout the garment. Saga is a very high-quality piece, crafted to last a lifetime and beyond. The yarn Saga is made of is both hand-pulled and handspun, which creates the perfect thickness and feel of every single thread.

Freyja is another sustainable knit from PÆTRIA design`s EVIG collection – hand-knitted and hand-embroidered cardigan, that brings back the slow art of embroidery, luxurious feels of the highest quality Icelandic wool (OEKO-TEX Certified) and unique knitting patterns and details. Freyja is made entirely of one strand of a single-ply fragile Plötulopi unspun wool, resulting in it being exceptionally light and airy, with gently padded shoulders and puffed arms. Just like our Chloë cardigan, Freyja is knitted by only a few experienced members of the amazing team of knitters we work with, that all wield the specific hand-twisting yarn technique required when working with this delicate wool. The handmade wool pom-poms and roses embroidery on this model are performed first after the piece has been knitted and by using several different stitching techniques and thread colors. Freyja takes pride in being both slowly and sustainably designed and created.
Due to the delicate collar knitting pattern, grid pattern and flower embroidery, it takes up to 9 days to create one Freyja cardigan.

Some of our handmade knitwear is one size only, as that is a crucial part of how our business is able to sustain – given our very small margins. However, the measurements of one size pieces have been chosen in order to fit everyone from XS-XL. Some models are either slightly or very oversized and will therefore fit a broad range of body types, yet the fit might be different from person to person.
