Freyja is made entirely of one strand of a single-ply fragile Plötulopi unspun wool, resulting in it being exceptionally light and airy, with gently padded shoulders and puffed arms. Just like our Chloë cardigan, Freyja is knitted by only a few experienced members of the amazing team of knitters we work with, that all wield the specific hand-twisting yarn technique required when working with this delicate wool. The handmade wool pom-poms and roses embroidery on this model are performed first after the piece has been knitted and by using several different stitching techniques and thread colors. Freyja takes pride in being both slowly and sustainably designed and created.
Due to the delicate collar knitting pattern, grid pattern and flower embroidery, it takes up to 9 days to create one Freyja cardigan.
