Maud is a fully hand-knitted, sturdy jacket, made in 100% organic, mulesing-free, and naturally dyed wool. The fluffy loops in black and white wool require a very precise and time-consuming knitting technique, but result in a gorgeous voluminous silhouette and a long-lasting, high-quality garment. The yarn Maud is made of is both hand-pulled and handspun, which creates the perfect thickness and feel of every single thread. Invisible inside clasps make it possible to button up the jacket.
Maud is proudly designed and created by the female knitters of Sirogojno, a small community of several generations of highly skilled artisans whose craftsmanship was recognized worldwide and loved and worn by, among others, Nancy Raegan, Jovanka Broz, Raisa Gorbachev, Liv Ullmann, and the British Queen.
